Hotel Valley Ho + Zuzu February Showstopper!

Valley Ho ZUZU

Did we ever tell you guys how much we love Zuzu at Hotel Valley Ho?  It’s our favorite weekend brunch spot, but they now serve brunch daily  so you can go whenever you want.  Anyway, we love the details like the rock candy sugar sticks for coffee.  And the Avocado toast with smoked salmon.  We order it literally every time, so get used to that.  But the real reason we went in was for the Showstopper shake!  The month of February is featuring ingredients like Girl Scout Tagalong cookies (the best!) and a peanut butter and jelly shake base.  They’re in the Girl Scout Dessert challenge and voting is happening until February 29 here, so click through and vote for Zuzu!

We also tried the Red and Black Quinoa Spoon Salad with tuscan kale, cranberries, wasabi peas, roasted tomatoes, sunflower seeds, avocado + cilantro chimichurri, and it was definitely one of the top 10 salads I’ve ever had (and I personally wrote the post on the best salads in phoenix – so I know what I’m talking about!).  We also opted for the Pan Seared Scottish Salmon, because there’s no such thing as too much salmon and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise! paired with spicy korean brussels sprouts + citrus butter.

And Finally, our Showstopper shake; a peanut butter milkshake base, house-made strawberry preserves, milk chocolate milk crumb, fresh strawberries + delightful homemade rice treats made with Tagalongs, with a couple of whole cookies included for good measure.Valley Ho ZUZU
