FYI Tucson Foodies Listen UP!

We’re into the new concept Postino WineCafe is creating, air dropping bruschetta boards is an idea we can get behind.  Here’s the deets;
With their new restraunt opening in Tucson, they’re culture hacking and sharing the love. The restaurant’s signature art wall is ready to glow, a full team of hospitalitarians have been hired, and Postino WineCafe is proud to announce its first-ever Southern Arizona opening. Postino Grant (2500 E. Grant Rd.) will swing open its doors at 11 am on Monday, March 2. But first, as part of the group’s simple yet powerful mission to “Make People Feel Good,” Postino will be making appearances at marquee destinations and events to surprise lucky Tucsonans with free boards of bruschetta or “Love Drops”. Kicking off this Thursday, February 6 at the Tucson Museum of Art’s ‘Free Art Thursday’, Postino Team Members will be popping in to ‘AirDrop’ digital Bruschetta Boards that guests can redeem when the restaurant opens. Aptly named a Postino Love Drop, anyone within proximity at the upcoming events, and with AirDrop activated on their iPhone, will have a chance to capture one. Don’t fret, Android users, just look out for the people wearing black and yellow “P.” hats and they’ll DM you on the spot.
Postino Love Drop Lineup:
Feb 6 @ 7pm, Free Art Thursday at Tucson Museum of Art
Feb 9 @ 10am, Bridal Wreath Falls Hiking Trail
Feb 12 @ noon, UofA Student Union – “Bear Down” – Jenn is UofA alumn.
Feb 15 @ 10am, Tucson Convention Center Gem & Mineral Show
Feb 22 @ 8pm, UofA vs. Oregon Men’s Basketball Game at McKale Center
With the opening set for Monday, March 2nd, Postino will be housed inside a striking, mid-century modern-inspired building on the SE corner of Grant Rd. & Tucson Blvd., ready with a Team of hospitality pros, a warm, come-as-you-are culture, and all the charming details and magic that make Postino.
One-of-a-kind highlights include a 150-square-foot art wall made up of upcycled sign letters sourced from local vintage shops throughout Arizona. The wall is a nod to Tucson’s rich history and love of iconic, roadside neon signs. In addition, Postino Grant features floor to ceiling, retractable windows that convert the restaurant into an open-air space, complimented by a full embrace of plant life to celebrate Tucson’s sun-soaked goodness. Favorites return, too, as Postino Grant boasts its signature walnut wine walls, dazzling light fixtures, over-sized vintage couch lounge areas, touches of evocative pop-art, a communal bar, and get-your-shazam-ready playlists that keep the good times rolling.
Serving up lunch and dinner with brunch every weekend, Postino delivers a decked-out menu of bruschetta’s, crave-worthy shareables that instigate last-bite fights, and proudly pours a wide variety of Arizona and Tucson craft brews, paired with an ever-changing selection of approachable boutique wines, including more than 30 wines by the glass.
Every Saturday and Sunday (9 am – 1 pm) Postino rocks a bumping brunch featuring $5 mimosas, plus happy hour specials, including the daily staple $5 ’til 5pm (all wines by the glass and pitchers of beer for $5 from open – 5pm) and $25 Bottle & Board on Monday & Tuesday evenings after 8pm (a bottle of wine and a board of bruschetta for $25).
Postino Tucson is located at 2500 E. Grant Rd., Tucson, AZ 85716. For more information visit  www.postinowinecafe.com.
