We were recently invited to check out the Art of Ice Cream Experience in Scottsdale, AZ. If you know anything about us bitches it’s that we love art just as much as food so bringing the two together for an installation based dessert experience was right up our freezer aisle.
We were greeted with a tiny cone upon arrival, so already off to a great start!
Once we made it though the freezer door we headed straight for the ring. Ice Cream boxing gloves on we stepped inside the ring.
Stephanie packs a mean upper punch.
It’s alright. I forgave her and we moved onto some otter pops and pops of color.
We loved the details on this chandelier upstairs. How do we get one of these in our house?
Since this exhibit is kid friendly, we brought the littlest member along for her approval. She requested this Banana split canoe for her new bed. Had to break her heart when I told her ‘no.’
But, she recovered well, jumping for joy because there was more Ice Cream!
This sting installation might be my favorite conceptual exhibit at the gallery, each person selects a color of string and then feeds it though the loops to vote on their perfect Ice cream dessert. Starting with a cone or bowl, toppings and more.
We ended with a scoop of each; Salted Caramel, Vanilla and Strawberry Sorbet.
If you’re in the area and looking for a fun afternoon, something instagram worthy and includes dessert, this limited time experience is here until March and you can get tickets here.
xoxo,
the bitches.
