The Dressing Room in Downtown Phoenix

The Dressing RoomWe were invited to try out the Dressing Room in downtown Phoenix last month, and let us just start by saying two words; Patio Weather. Okay the inside is adorable too, but like patio weather! They have an adorable secluded back patio and were finishing up the front patio as well.  But enough about the patio, we know you want to hear more about the food, and obviously, drinks. The Dressing RoomLeft; Peppered Flower – Gin, Elderflower Liqueur, Fresh Lemon Juice, Peppercorn Blend, Honey.  At first you’re like is it okay to put pepper in a drink and then you’re like yes, yes it’s very okay, especially when paired with gin and elderflower.

Right; The Snoop – Gin, Aperol, Fresh Grapefruit Juice, Lemon
The Dressing RoomOne of the items we loved most were these unique Tajin Spice Fries paired with your choice of (but we definitely all three and suggest the same) Spicy Russian – think Thousand Island Dressing but Spicy, Malt Aioli which balanced the spice of the fries wonderfully, and the Avocado Crema silky smooth creme from avocados. The Dressing RoomThese might be are my favorite vegetarian tacos in Phoenix. They have Oaxacan Mexican Cheese in a battered breaded and fried think of a Mexican mozzarella stick, but then turned into a taco.  If you close your eyes you might feel the texture of a fish taco, almost which it the point.  Then topped with seasonal veggies and giant Peruvian Corn!
The Dressing RoomStephanie opted for the Soba Noodles with Avocado, Carrots, Purple Cabbage, Snap Peas, Rice Wine Cucumbers, Soft Boiled Egg, Miso Vinaigrette, Seaweed & Sesame SeedsThe Dressing RoomLight crisp and refreshing and delicious salad.

And of course we couldn’t skip dessert.  This is the epic Churro Ice Cream Sandwich made with Tahitian Vanilla Bean Ice Cream.  It’s still warm on the curro outside and frozen on the inside, it’s like magic in your mouth.  We highly suggest you save room and do not skip this!

Special thanks to Brian, Zack, Amanda and Michelle, all of whom were wonderful hosts.  Great Service, delicious drinks, seriously go check it out and tell them the bitches sent you.

fine print: Our meal was complementary so we could document and describe our honest options of this restaurant and the food and drinks. we’d never lie to you.

xoxo
