Last week we were invited to check out the newest location of Blaze Pizza on Central Ave in the heart of Phoenix, we sampled their handpicked olive oil (the secret to their delightful crust), sampled a beer cocktail and even our own personal pizza. The kids loved my leftovers and I can’t wait to bring them back so they can build their own.Blaze opened in August of 2012 and now has over 196 restaurants in 32 states and Canada. Executive Chef Bradford Kent is passionate about quality ingredients and sustainable sourcing. All dough is made in house and wood fried for 180 seconds for a crisp and chewy crust.

I opted for a Signature pizza: The Art Lover’s Pizza (but modified with spinach and basil finished with balsamic reduction) it was delish. and I’ll definitely order it again!
Not only are they making personalized pizzas they’re making pizza personal! They’ve teamed up with Eat (RED) Save Lives to support the fight against AIDS, for the month of June B;aze will donate $ each time a guest orders a signature (RED) Vine pizza and cold drink, contributing up to $50,000 to (RED)’s fight against AIDS. So food that tastes good and also does good.
